It depends on how much you need rebuilt. At FinArt, a two-week Identity Sprint for a new brand is $4,500. A full rebrand with positioning, a new identity and a new website is quoted as one flat fee, scoped to your firm, before any work starts.

What drives the price

Three things. Whether the work starts with positioning, which takes interviews and time. Whether you need a website, and how many pages. And how many people have to approve it. A solo founder decides in a day. A firm with partners decides in a meeting.

What should be included

Written positioning you approve before any design. A logo system, colors and type with rules for using them. Your voice written down. If a website is part of it, the copy, the build, and basic search setup.

Why flat fees

Hourly billing rewards the designer for taking longer. A flat fee tied to the scope means you know the number before anything begins, and so does your budget.

What a rebrand does not include

Ongoing marketing. A rebrand gives you the brand and the site. Running ads, writing posts and sending newsletters is separate work, usually on a retainer.
